Scaleflex DAM plugin: ; 2. DAM upload-provider: . *Benefits*: * All your media will be hosted on Scaleflex DAM; * You have the option to synchronize all your existing media to Scaleflex DAM; * You will have access to the Media Asset Widget (MAW), where you can upload media to Scaleflex DAM and select media from Scaleflex DAM. * Additional workflows or enrichments can be performed from the DAM UI ### Installation #### Prerequisites [Register for a demo](https://www.scaleflex.com/en/request-a-demo) if you don't already have a Scaleflex DAM account. #### Step 1. Get the plugin Install the Scaleflex DAM plugin and you should see *Scaleflex DAM* in the left menu. The following options are available to you:

#### Step 2. Get the upload provider Then, install the DAM upload provider. Every media you upload will have DAM URLs:

### Usage #### Asset Manager Upload media to Scaleflex DAM:

Select media from Scaleflex DAM:

#### Synchronization 1. Beginning with 2 local images

2. And 10 images on Scaleflex DAM

3. Synchronize **Note:** Please don't close the browser tab until the sync process is done.

4. Results

#### Custom Field (Scaleflex Asset) In the **Content-Type Builder**, select the button **"Add another field"** and go to the tab **"Custom"**

Select **Scaleflex Asset**, fill in the name of the content type

Basic Setting: * **Allowed file type:** Restrict which type of assets can be selected Advanced Settings:

* **Stored attributes:** To store the data you want to get in the widget, e.g meta, info, tags, hash * **Max assets:** Maximum number of assets to select (e.g. 1 for thumbnail, 10 for gallery). Leave empty for no limit. In the content, you will see the new content type like this:
