# Project selector

Switch between the projects you have access to.

Portals belong to a project, and you work in one project at a time. The selector at the top right of the page shows which **Project.**

## Switch project

1. Select the project name.
2. Pick a project from the list, or search for it.

The list groups projects under the company they belong to, so the same company can hold several projects, a development and a production project, for example. Each project's token appears beside its name, which is useful when two projects are named similarly.

Switching project reloads the Portal list to show that project's Portals. Settings that belong to a project, such as the default Portal, follow the project you are in.
