# User menu

Your own preferences: interface theme, language, and signing out.

Your avatar, at the top right, opens your own preferences. It shows the account you are signed in as and holds settings that affect only you, not the Portal, and not what visitors see.

| Setting         | Does                                           |
| --------------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| **UI theme**    | Switches the interface between light and dark. |
| **UI language** | Sets the language of the interface.            |
| **Log out**     | Signs you out.                                 |

**UI language** changes the language of the builder around you. It does not change the language of your Portal; that is set per Portal, and translated separately.
