Inline editor
Format the text in your sections directly on the page, without leaving the builder.
Select any text in a section to open the inline editor. Its toolbar follows your selection, so you write and format content in place; what you see in the builder is what visitors get.
The toolbar
Sets which of your Portal's ten text levels this text uses: H1 to H5, or p1 to p5.
Turns the selected lines into a list. Paragraph text only.
Inserts a divider across the block. Paragraph text only.
Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough and code.
Sets the color of the selected text.
Nudges the selected text larger or smaller than its level's own size.
Turns the selection into a link.
Turns the selection into a route into the assets in your DAM.
Why a control might be missing
List and Horizontal line sit immediately after the text level selector but only when you're editing paragraph text. They are absent on headings, so switch to a p level if you can't find them.
Color, Font size and Add link need a selection. They stay greyed out until you select some text, because they act on a selection rather than the whole block.

Blank lines
Blank lines you leave between blocks of text are kept when your Portal is published, so you can space out a long passage without adding empty sections.
