# Airbox

Let people send you files without giving them access to the Portal.

A share link sends assets out. An **Airbox** brings them in: a link that lets someone upload files to you, without an account and without access to the Portal.

Useful for the traffic that otherwise arrives by email and gets lost — a photographer returning a shoot, an agency delivering artwork, a partner sending logos.

## What the sender sees

A page with your branding and a drop area: *Drop your files here to upload. You can add multiple files at once.* They drag files in, or browse for them. **All file types accepted.**

**Upload Details**, which they can open and close, shows them the terms of the link:

| **Expires**            | The date the link stops working, or **No expiration**. |
| **Password protected** | Whether they had to enter a password to get in.        |
| **Public access**      | Whether anyone with the link can use it.               |
| **Unlimited uploads**  | Whether the number of files is capped.                 |

When the files are through they see **All files uploaded successfully!** — or **Upload failed** if something went wrong, so they know to try again rather than assume it worked.

## Good to know

* An expired link shows **ShareBox link expired** — *This AirBox link is no longer available. Please contact the sender for a new one.*
* Senders never see the Portal, its assets or anyone else's uploads.
* Uploaded files land in your DAM, where they follow your usual review process.
