# Email Templates

Email templates allow you to customize your messaging and branding to suit your audience better. These are the emails your users receive when they are invited to the Hub, request a password reset, are invited to a Sharebox or Airbox, or register for Portals.

You can find the email templates at the bottom of the **Branding** page in **Settings**.

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: Only users with the **Manager**, **Administrator**, or **Owner** role can access this page.
{% endhint %}

Click the three-dot menu on the right side of an email template to **View** or **Clone** the template.

When viewing an email template, you can:

* Preview the template layout.
* Edit the content.
* Change the logo.
* Send a test email.

When editing content in **Plain Text** mode, you can insert available variables that reference dynamic values such as the user's name, project name, date, and other relevant information.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.scaleflex.com/vxp-visual-experience-platform/settings/project/branding/email-templates.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
