The Product feature allows grouping files based on specific product references, enhancing asset organization and search efficiency. Once enabled, users can add two new metadata fields—Product Reference and Production Position—to their assets, making it easier to locate and manage files related to different products.
To enable this feature, navigate to Settings > DAM > Library > Featured Components and turn on the Products feature to automatically add the Product Reference and Production Position metadata fields.
Users can mark assets under specific products_reference and view/search these assets under the Products submenu for quick access. Each asset can be associated with a product_references or removed from it, and each user can access their list of product-associated assets via Menu > Products. This ensures easy management and quick retrieval of assets related to specific products_references.
A product filter has been added to the search bar, allowing users to filter results using the product_references field.
Users can input a single product reference, allowing for precise and efficient retrieval of files related to that specific product.
Bulk Product Reference Input
Users can input multiple product references simultaneously by selecting the Add List option in the Products filter and pasting the references, one per line. The system formats the input automatically, ensuring streamlined searches and efficient retrieval of exact files.
